Jorens gave us a fabulous tour around the vinyards! He is an enthusiastic and funny guide and conscientious about safety. He gave us great information as well as some history surounding St.Emilion. Would definitely recommend Rustic Vines for a great tour of St.Emilion.

This tour exceeded our expectations by far! We booked Rustic Vines after our host recommended them, and we’re so glad we listened to her. The electric bike ride through the vineyards was absolutely beautiful, the lunch was great, and the whole experience was so well organized and very simple to book through the websitw.
Daniel, our guide, was fantastic, friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and he really made the day special. We learned a lot without ever feeling like we were on a “tourist tour.” It was relaxed, beautiful and honestly one of the highlights of our stay in Saint-Émilion.
If you’re visiting the area, I would 100% recommend Rustic Vines. It was even better than we expected, and we absolutely loved it!

Vincent was a very charismatic, knowledgeable and passionate tour guide! The day was a great mix of beautiful scenery, bike riding, wine tasting and two outstanding vineyard tours which were lead by very well informed representatives from each vineyard. We thoroughly enjoyed a gourmet picnic amongst the wines and were pleasantly surprised by a third tasting when we arrived back in St Emilion along with a brief tour of this gorgeous village. We highly recommend this as part of your stay in the Bordeaux area !!!!

Went on the half day tour with my family of four & Pauline as our guide. She was excellent. The scenery is breathtaking. We stopped at 2 wineries and had lunch, which was delicious. I highly recommend doing this tour.

Our friend recommended a visit to a couple of wineries in St. Emilion with Rustic Vines. Booking with Rustic Vines was very easy and Nicholas was a great guide, wonderful experience!! All of us had a lot of fun with the electric supported bicycles, beautiful countryside, excellent picnic and wine tasting. Unforgettable day!!

We absolutely loved our time with Nicolas, he was fun, friendly and informative. We learnt lots about wine from the region but in a fun and interesting way. We tasted lots of wine and enjoyed the tasty lunch outside. We enjoyed sharing the trip with the other guests as well. It was a very very hot day and we were given lots of cold water.

We had the best day out with Daniel from Rustic Wines, he was so friendly and fun - he was exceptionally well organized, the lunch, selection of vineyards, and tour around the incredible region of st Emilion was simply outstanding. We did this in the heatwave, there was plenty of complementary water and he chose areas with shade to stop and enjoy the views. This tour was first class, Daniel went above and beyond to help us have the best day out - 100% recommend rustic wine tours.

As our first time on an e bike Nicoli our tour guide was fantastic at explaining how they worked and provided us with the most memorable day riding around the countryside of St Emilion to visit the vineyards, wine tasting and a very relaxing picnic lunch. If you are visiting St Emilion this is a must do with Rustic Vines - superb experience and one we will never forget.

We had such a great time on this tour. Our Guide, Daniel, was honestly excellent, incredible wine knowledge but also great ability to communicate it in a way that appealed to people with varying levels of knowledge.
I would also say that until you have spent time cycling around the vines it's difficult to connect with it all properly - so this was honestly really great. A must do I would say.

I had a wonderful time and would absolutely recommend this company. I did the half-day bike tour, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The first vineyard we stopped at was excellent, and we had a guided tour through their facility that was very interesting and informative. The picnic was also great, with a nice variety of cheeses, cold cuts, and fresh vegetables. They also provided three bottles of wine for our picnic (group of 10 people) in addition to the tasting, which was more than enough.
The electric bike was a great way to explore the area and made the ride very enjoyable. The only part I didn’t enjoy as much was the second vineyard stop. The staff there seemed to rush us a bit, and the wine tasting felt somewhat unnecessary since we were already a little tipsy. Personally, I would have preferred more time biking around the countryside after the picnic.

We loved our e-bike tour riding along quiet roads surrounded by vineyards to visit two chateaus. Both visits provided excellent description of their wines and sharing their history and story. We enjoyed a delicious food platter for lunch at one of our stops. Nicolai was an excellent guide explaining what it means to be in the appellation and plans for the future due to a warmer climate. He also pointed out places of interest in St Emilion. I’d highly recommend.

Julie was a great guide for our tour and the 2 vineyards we visited were informative and the wine was delicious. The picnic outside in the shade provided a nice chance to connect with the other guests. This was our 2nd time doing this tour -1st was in 2019- and we think it’s the most fun way to get out and experience the region. E-bikes are easy to ride and make this trip a choose your own level of effort experience.

We enjoyed the 1/2 day ride with picnic lunch. The bike ride throughout the St. Emilion vineyards is spectacular scenery and an easy ride. Yan was our host and he has excellent wine knowledge and is quite helpful in making sure you understand how the St. Emilion wines are categorized. He also has command of Bordeaux and St. Emilion history and quite informative. We stopped at two Chateaus for tasting and a charcuterie lunch. My husband and I were visiting Bordeaux from the US and wanted to do some wine tasting in the region while we were here. I've always found that I get a better appreciation for a place either by foot or bike. I found Rustic Vines through some online searching and it sounded perfect. They were quick to respond to some initial questions I had. We were able to find the start location in St. Emilion easily. Yan was our guide for the day, who was very informative and friendly. We learned a lot about St. Emilion wines and really enjoyed biking through the vineyards and Chateaus. Yan even gave us some recommendations for dinner back in Bordeaux!

What a fabulous day my daughter and I truly think this was the highlight of our European trip, YEV, our guide, was extremely knowledgable and kept the information interesting and entertaining he was super friendly and always looking out for us while riding . The vineyards were most generous with our wine tastings , which was really wonderful, however if you wanted to pass you could !. The lunch was also very generous and delicious it was served as a picnic under the shade of trees at a table , typical french style , we made some wonderful new friends and truly have not laughed so much in a long time ...

We had a great experience on this winery tour! Karin, our guide, was super friendly and made the whole day feel relaxed and enjoyable. The two winery visits were fantastic, with knowledgeable staff who shared great insights about the wines.

We would highly recommend this tour! Yan was a great guide - both knowledgeable and entertaining! We are cyclists but have never ridden an e-bike before and were a bit sceptical about them - but now absolutely convinced, especially for 35 degrees heat! The vineyards and chateaux were wonderful and we greatly enjoyed tasting the different wines. The staff in both vineyards were great. The picnic lunch was lovely and washed down with more wine! A fun group and a really great way to explore Saint Emilion and the surrounding area. Would really recommend this experience.

My brother and I booked a 1/2 day bike tour of St. Emilion during a trip for a family wedding. We had such a wonderful experience. Our guide, Yan was lovely, informative, and we enjoyed spending the day with him. We went to 2 wineries and enjoyed the guides there and tasting the wines. Highly recommend. What a lovely way to spend an afternoon. You get a feel for St Emilion, & the work that goes into wine production. A great tour, comfortable bikes, Karin was our guide & very informative . We booked this as a last minute activity on our final day in the region and were so pleased we did. Our guide, Yan, was really great - he was very knowledgeable about the wine, the area and the history. His explanations were engaging and he made things fun and Rustic Vines clearly have a good relationship with the vineyards we visited. We had a wonderful half day tour with Karin, who was knowledgeable and patient. Very relaxing and informative. Karin even helped with transportation arrangements the following day. Great value for the cost. We would highly recommend.

Cycling is the perfect way to see the beautiful vineyards and chateaux of St. Emilion. Yan was extremely knowledgeable about the area, the wines, and the vineyards. We visited 2 wineries but the highlight was the scenery and cycling. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day celebrating our friends 60th birthday, our guide Karin was lovely very knowledgeable, friendly and patient, the Chateau’s we visited were both very welcoming, interesting and knowledgable.
The lunch provided was lovely and catered for the veggies of our group.
The bikes were easy to ride were in excellent condition and we all said it east the best day of our 7 day trip touring south west France.
Thank you we would definitely recommend it.

This was absolutely our favorite excursion ever! Karin had ALL the details covered and created such a fun and special day for us! The country side was stunning, the e-bikes were such a fun way to experience this. The chateaus she chose and the wine were absolutely amazing !! And to add to all of this the people in our group had such a fun energy. It was a perfect! Thank you for such a wonderful day.

Had a very thorough tour of St. Emilion vinyards with Vincent, a local with a very deep knowledge of the are and of wine.
Toured two wineries with unique styles and wines, had a great lunch and a tasting as well in St. Emillion.

Absolutely magical day. Yan was a consummate host and guide, not to mention his extensive and unique understanding of the French food and wine culture which left you in awe and in high appreciation of all thing wine.
We were taken on local scenic routes to Chateauxs that provided the best vistas and scenery. Both winery visits were a treat for the senses. A great spread of wines from the region, which we brought home with us. Last, but not the least memorable was the lunch spread provided for us at one of the Chateauxs, which included a gorgeous selection of local produce to enjoy with a glass of wine! We were obsessed.

An amazing way to experience St Emilion

This was a last minute decision whilst we were in Bordeaux and by far the best! We booked the afternoon tour so we could take the train to Saint-Emilion and explore this UNESCO heritage town before commencing our tour, which proved to be perfect. Once we were done exploring and lunching, we met our guide, who spoke with passion and knowledge. Winding through the beautiful country roads of Saint Emilion, past wineries, rolling hills and stunning countryside. The riding is easy, when it feels a bit tough just kick in the e-bike functionality and presto, no more effort required.
Our two winery stops were amazing, very different to each other but with very knowledgeable and passionate staff and such amazing access to all winery operations. Our final stop at Montalbert included a charcuterie spread as we tasted the big, bold Boardeaux reds. This is peak adulting - don't miss the opportunity!

We went on the 1/2 day e-bike tour with Yan. He was so informative and made this a great experience!! The weather cooperated too. We went to 2 vineyards for tasting and they both were enjoyable. We had never been on e-bikes but Yan was a great instructor. The scenery was magnificent and his commentary helped us to appreciate this region even more.

The tour was wonderful, we cycled almost 16 km but the electric bikes made is easy and fun. Our guide was so well prepared water at the ready and ponchos for the one rain shower. The chateaus we visited were fantastic examples of independent family owned properties. Highly recommend the half day tour and the Rustic Vines company.

Would recommend if you are in the area!

We had a wonderful time with 9 other riders touring the vineyards. It was fun to go off road as well between the vines. The guides at the 2 chateaux we visited were superb: super knowledgeable and funny as well. We tried 6 different wines. Our guide Yurin was excellent and helped us get used to the bikes.

Jorens was a fabulous tour guide. We learned interesting facts about St-Émilion wines and the different appellations of Bordeaux, and riding electric bikes through the lush green vineyards of the region was beautiful. Highly recommend if you love wine and don't mind cycling on a few rocky roads!

It was a wonderful experience. The visits of the vineyards were informative and fun. Yann our guide is very knowledgeable regarding wine and the different chateaux. He seems to be welcome Ted with several vineyards people. He was also patient and attentive. We definitely recommend the tour. That was the highlight of our visit to Saint Emilion. We learn some history along the way too!

This was a fantastic way to see Saint-Émilion and its environs, to taste some great vintages, and to stretch our legs after a long drive in from Toulouse. Jorens was a charming and friendly guide, stopping us along the way to share some interesting history of the region and some facts about the modern practices of the vignobles. What a great experience!

This was my second tour with rustic vines and again it didn’t disappoint! From start to finish we laughed, learned and rode our ebikes across some of the most spectacular scenery. The wine tasting was well organised with stunning chateau’s. Our tour guide was fabulous and put a great deal of effort into making our excursion a great success. Thank you.

Yan was the best guide for the tour - knowledgeable and super helpful for our group of 5 (8 total in the group). He took us through the beautiful countryside, from St-Emilion to Lalande de Pomerol. It was our first time using electric bikes (super easy) and a highlight in our trip in the region. I highly recommend!

10/10! Yan was an amazing tour guide and gave us a perfect bike ride and experience. If you want to see Saint Emilion in a different way, visit Chateaus with someone who has tons of local knowledge, this is the tour for you.
