Excellent experience. I joined a group of 8 people as a solo traveler but i immediately felt at ease thanks to our guide Pauline who was both professional and easygoing and the other participants who were funny and friendly. I would definitely recommend the experience because it was interesting, enjoyable, very well organized and easy to book (Bordeaux Board of Tourism)

My husband and I were traveling and he had full days of meetings. I booked an e-bike tour of the Saint- Emilion area and it exceeded my expectations. The guide, Chloe was amazing. Not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also so fun and sweet I loved spending the day with her! Our group of 11 from all over the US (mostly) were so friendly and made the experience much more fun than exploring alone. I will definitely do it again. Hopefully my husband can join next time! There is nothing more enjoyable than biking through the beautiful French countryside and tasting wine.

We had a wonderful time on the all-day Saint Emilion bike tour (with pickup and dropoff in Bordeaux) from Rustic Vines. Remi our guide was very knowledgeable and kind.
This is a great way to see and do a lot in a day. Biking through the countryside around Saint Emilion was fabulous. We also enjoyed visiting 2 small family-run wineries in the countryside. Remi set up a lovely picnic lunch at the first one. We also biked around Saint Emilion and our guide took us on a walking tour. We would and have already recommended this tour to friends!
Booking the tour was easy online and their website and e-commerce stuff works well.
We were a bit wined out by the time we got to Saint Emilion, so I recommend removing the in-town wine tasting. Also, the experience of wine tasting at the wineries in the countryside was much more fun and immersive (with the vineyards just outside etc).

We loved everything about this experience. Vincent looked after us so well and knows absolutely everything about wine. We loved the passion and enthusiasm of the winemakers. It was very well organised and gave us an experience we could not have organised for ourselves. I don’t cycle much but found this very easy. The roads are very quiet and no really long distances. We had the most wonderful day on our e-bike and wine tasing tour of St-Emillion. Our guide was fantastic and kept us going at a nice pace so we could enjoy ourselves taking a few photos and linger at the wineries along the way. I would highly recommend Rustic Vines to friends and family.

On the way to Saint-Émilion, he told us a little about the history of Bordeaux, and once we arrived, our bike tour was absolutely wonderful. It’s definitely a must-do! It was harvest season in September, and we visited two beautiful places, with a picnic in between.And we also had a quick tour of St Emilion once we dropped the bike back.
Don’t worry about the cycling — it’s a very relaxed ride, even though you occasionally share the road with cars. Our group of 10 was a great mix, from couples in their twenties to people in their fifties.
I highly recommend Rustic Vines, especially for the quality of their guides. Vincent was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

Pauline was our Rustic Vines tour guide for our St. Emilion e-bike tour yesterday and she did an amazing job. So warm and professional! She made sure we were all at ease riding our e-bikes (it was the first time for me!) and then gave us an introduction into Bordeaux wine. All of the wineries gave excellent tours that didn't duplicate each other and ALL of the Bordeaux wines were top-notch and tasty. I have been around wine for quite a while, so I was quite happy to learn more about the wine-making process as well as the Pomerol region of Bordeaux and what makes it so special (blue-gray clay). This was my second Rustic Vines tour in a year and I'll definitely be back. I highly recommend you go on one of their Bordeaux/St. Emilion tours!

Remi was our tour guide and he was awesome!
We loved visiting the two chateaus, enjoyed the lunch, and loved wrapping up with some final tastings at the boutique wine shop.
We walked in knowing basically nothing about wine and left feeling relatively educated on it. Plus, we enjoyed some great wine!

Our day on e-bikes through St Emilion was wonderful. Vincent was enthusiastic, deeply knowledgeable and he helped create a great atmosphere that allowed us to really connected with the other guests as well. The paths he led us down were all safe and easy to navigate. The breeze generated by the bikes made the heat tolerable and the wines we tried were all excellent.

We had a fantastic day exploring Saint-Emilion with Rustic Vines Tours, guided by Daniel. He's a wonderful guide. He's knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the region. What stood out most was his willingness to let us take our time at each stop, never rushing the experience.
The châteauxs selected for the tour gave us an excellent sense of the area and its winemaking traditions. However the two chateaus were a little similar so maybe a bit more variety would be good. The tastings were memorable, and the lunch was delicious. Despite the heat, we felt well looked after throughout the day.

This was a very excellent experience biking riding in St Emilion’s wine country. The day weather wise was bright blue sky, a bit warm but with the E-bikes, it worked out well. Visiting the wineries was great, the speakers knew their craft, the lunch was very nice. What made the trip so enjoyable was our host Daniel, who was very attentive to sharing his knowledge of the area and checking on our needs.

Easy to find office during our stay in Bordeaux. Friendly staff to greet us. Sam was an excellent guide and we really enjoyed his company. He had great information to share. The lunch was wonderful. Seeing the village of St Emilion was a good introduction before heading that way for a couple of days. We joined a couple from Australia on this offer and she required gluten free bread. Considering they committed to the offer that same morning at 7:00, I was impressed that the lunch offerings could accommodate that at such short notice. Impressive!
I didn’t realize that we would be biking on roads. It wasn’t that busy with car traffic and Sam made me feel safe. Thanks!

As the only one coming from Bordeaux was able to have a fun and engaging conversation with him all about the city and environs on the route to St Emilion. The eBikes are amazing and in good shape which made the ride that more spectacular as we wound our way through the vineyards to our various tastings. RusticVines has amazing partnerships at various chateaus allowing you to get deep into the wine making process and terroir. Each stop was amazing! I would highly highly recommend this tour! From beginning to end it was fabulous! Our guide for the day, Yev, was so so lovely. His English was perfect! His knowledge of Bordeaux and the surrounding areas was excellent! He kept us entertained and well informed for the whole day! One of our party was found the tour for a second time (previously 2023) and we visited different vineyards and cycled a different route! It was a wonderful experience. Our bike guide was fun and laid back. The two wineries had informative guides and the store tasting was excellent. I would recommend this tour for anyone that doesn't want to be with a large group of tourists and wants to be a bit active and see the beauty of the vineyards. I would liked to have a bit of free time in the beautiful town maybe for drink to soak up all the charm.

We had a wonderful day overall with Vincent. The biking was fun and St Emillion is charming. We had a group of 10 representing 4 continents which added to the enjoyment. The picnic lunch was delicious with yummy pate and cheese and fruit. We visited two chateaus that were very different. Both tours and tastings were informative though the wines were unremarkable (and some pretty bad). Our last tasting in a wine shop offered better but much pricier wines. Almost makes you wonder if the lineup is intentional to get you to spring for the expensive wines at the end of the trip. I would recommend doing the tour but don’t have high expectations for the wine.

Had a fantastic trip up and around Saint-Emilion with my fiancee, two other people Derek & Megan from Toronto and Jorens our tour guide.
It was a great to experience and the first time we’d done a vineyard tour. We all had E-bikes too, which was a lovely way to ride in and around the vineyards and see how the wineries go about harvesting their own produce.
Jorens our tour guide was brilliant, really approachable and very accommodating and had a wealth of knowledge, which he shared with us really well.
I would definitely recommend the Rustic Vines tour in Bordeaux, as it was an excellent experience and really fun way to explore the vineyards on E-bikes.

I took this tour as a solo traveller. It was an absolutely fantastic experience. The e-bikes were a great way to explore the area - and get a breeze on a warm day! Dante was an brilliant host, very interesting and very knowledgeable. He made the whole day very enjoyable and made everyone feel at ease. The tours of the Chateaus and the wine tastings were great. Pitched at a really good level for wine connoisseurs and people who, like me, have no great knowledge. I learned loads. What can I say about lunch - it was an absolute treat, was just perfect. They catered for the fact I was a vegetarian with delicious alternatives to the meat for the other guests. I genuinely had the best time on this tour. A great way to visit the vineyards of Pomerol and St-Emilion if you are based in Bordeaux without a car. Clear communication from the team by email. Efficient booking system. We are a family of four with two older teenagers. The e-bikes were really easy to use. If you haven't ridden a bike for years, don't worry. The roads are quiet and drivers courteous. We very much enjoyed our tour with our guide from Ukraine. He was extremely knowledgeable about wine and also helpful with the bikes. We visited two chateaus and had twelve tastings - so excellent value for money overall! The bike part of the tour adds something different and exciting to the tour. The bikes are very easy to steer, peddle etc. We don't often bike and had no issues. The picnic lunch was also very nice and included a bottle of wine!

We signed up for this experience never having heard of this company and only after not being able to get on the cruise ship’s tour…how lucky we were! We met at the little shop just a short walk from the port where we first met Vincent, who would be our guide, driver, chef, teacher and translator for the day and end up as a very good friend! Everything about the experience was incredible and everything we did and saw was beautiful and often times, lacked words to properly describe how beautiful our riding tour was. It was a fairly long day (10am - 7pm) and worth every second. My wife and I can’t wait to do this trip again and hopefully it will be with Vincent. He was the consummate guide and host and was so authentic and happy to share with us the region and country of his birth. Thank you so much Vincent and Rustic Vines for providing us with a most amazing and wonderful experience! We will tell everyone we know that this is a “must do” item while visiting Bordeaux. We had a beautiful day exploring saint emilion on the bikes. Such a great experience exploring the area at our own pace while being outside in the sunshine. Our guide was very friendly and shared lots of great information. We visited two chateaus, enjoyed an amazing lunch provided by rustic vines and tasted great wines. Highly recommend!

Our tour guide - “the Latvian” - was amazing!! Really easy biking and LOTS of wine tastings. This trip was easy to coordinate. Would recommend leaving from Bordeaux if you are staying vs taking the train. Easy to get to the office in the city center.

The Latvian Guide (that’s what he told me to say if I was to leave a review) was fantastic. Full of energy, information and was extremely genuine. Great tour, lots of tasting and learning with some great activity. The bike ride was easily the best part. We had perfect weather whichn sure The Latvian arranged for us. Do it! Don’t hesitate.

I originally felt nervous going with a group tour; however, my experience exceeded my expectations. The tour guide is very friendly and helpful, and I had great interactions with other guests. We visited several wineries, including a large one and a small one, and had great tasting experiences. Cycling is easy to navigate and is moderately demanding.

I definitely enjoyed the bike ride; however, it did take away a little bit of enjoying things around me. I was new to ebikes and the guide wasn't able to speak to us while riding so I had no idea what I was looking at. Perhaps some sort of microphone can be used and people could use their earbuds, etc. to understand what we were seeing.
While Yev was quite personal, and he new the basics of the region, a bit more technical knowledge about the grapes, and wines would be helpful.

I enjoyed a lot our day with Maud. The bike tour around Saint Emilion was an amazing experience, the selected chateaux very welcoming and the wines and lunch delicious. I would definitely recommend this trip to any wine enthusiast visiting Bordeaux!

We had a fantastic experience with our guide, Yev, as he was extremely knowledgable about the area and all of the wines. Unfortunately we ended up getting rained out so we were not able to bike, but Rustic Vines accommodated this weather situation by switching it to a van tour. Highly recommend this company for wine tours in Bordeaux!

We loved our e-bike tour with rustic vines yesterday. Transport to the region was efficient and comfortable. We then met our guide Jan who was friendly, knowledgeable and very enthusiastic.
Exploring the area by e-bike was perfect as it allowed us to cover so much ground with ease, and see the beautiful region while outdoors.
We learned lots about winemaking from the passionate winemakers, and were brought through each step of the process before tasting their wines.
Then came a walking tour of the stunning village itself - even after a full day of touring we didn’t want to leave!
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone with any interest in wine or the region. All the information and history was delivered in short chunks which really kept our attention and interest all day long.
For the wine buffs there was plenty of opportunity to ask more in depth questions and learn as much as they wished at every stage.

Nothing to dislike. The service before booking made the choice easy and the day was perfect. We left on time from Bordeaux to meet our guide Yan in St Emilion. Yan was excellent: his knowledge was outstanding, his personality ideal. Above all his passion for Bordeaux and its wine makers shone through. For us a perfect way to explore and enjoy Bordeaux wines.

The day was extremely well organised and very enjoyable. Suzanna was a knowledgeable, friendly, and personable tour guide who certainly enhanced the whole experience. I would highly recommend this day trip. We had some confusion of the advertised finish time, we were expecting to finish at 5 or 6pm but actually finished at 7pm. This was not an issue at all for us and the day was highly enjoyable, but could have been an issue for other people.

The combination of wine tasting and e-bikes sounded irresistible and we were so glad we chose this tour. Daniela was a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable, and we had a wonderful day. The two chateaux we visited were very different so it was good to have the contrast; cycling the lanes through the vineyards was a lovely way to be in great scenery and see things at a relaxed pace. Ending the day in St Emilion with another wine tasting and exploring the village - a well-out together, full and relaxed day. The booking process and communications were efficient and smooth too. Would definitely recommend!

It was a last minute decision to do this tour and initially my wife was a little hesitant re the e-biking as we are in our senior years but we went ahead.
We are so glad we did. Riding through the vines and discovering the many beautiful Chateaus and country side was spectacular! Maud our guide is full of live and so in communication with everyone and her knowledge on wine is a cut above. We learnt so much from her and the wineries we visited. We had a lovely picnic lunch and 3 wine tastings It was so much fun. I would highly recommend both the tour company and Maud our tour guide.

The day we toured was very rainy but it did not diminish our fun or enjoyment one bit! We enjoyed the tour very much and would highly recommend it. It was very organized and well planned. We met two other great couples, had great conversations and lots of great wine. Our guide was amazing - she was very knowledgeable, charming and sweet. We enjoyed visiting smaller wineries. We were warmly greeted and enjoyed a lovely lunch at the first one we visited.

Spent a nice day with Theo in St. Emilion, riding e-bikes and tasting some great wines from the local area. The e-bikes seemed to have seen better days but, in the end, they got us where we were going (and back). The lunch at the winery was delicious and the wine was quite tasty as well. We’d definitely do this tour again. Thanks for a good time.

We had a fabulous ebike vinyards tour, the guide was great and very knowledgeable, the people at the vinyards we're lovely and very informative.
The ebikes were fun, we cycled around a lot of the vinyards taking in the scenery.
Finally, we had a guided walking tour of St Emilion, which is beautiful.

Had a great day biking through the vineyards on St-Emilion with Rustic Vines. After meeting at their office in Bordeaux, your taken by van to their office in St-Emilion where you pick up the bikes. Bikes were in excellent condition and easy to ride and comfortable. You bike around the countryside to several stops for wine tastings and lunch. Great way to spend the day!

We left on time with a group of 8 with tour guide Suzanne.
We drove to St Emilion to pick up the E Bikes.
All bikes were well maintained and fully charged.
We rode about 25 kms on mostly back roads, with a lovely French picnic lunch and tastings at the first Chateau, a tasting at the 2nd Chateau stop and then a tasting at a wine shop within St Emilion to end the day.
There was no buying pressure at any of the tastings.
There’s no risk of running out of charge. My bike still had 75% battery at the end of
the day. There is no serious exertion involved.
Our guide was a personable British expat who was very knowledgeable about both the area and wine. A lovely guide.
All in all, it was a fabulous day, worth every penny.
Note that if you’re on a cruise ship in Bordeaux, you won’t be back at your ship until about 6:30pm.

My wife and I absolutely loved it. It was the highlight of our trip to Bordeaux. Maude was the absolutely best tour guide we've ever had. She was knowledgeable on the region, on French culture and food, prepared a great lunch, kept us off busy roads, gave us an excellent walking tour of St-Emilion. She was an excellent van driver and kept us entertained on the drive from and back to Bordeaux. The chateau's chosen were excellent and their staff very informative. We had no difficulties. The bikes were comfortable and having the electric assist was well appreciated, even though we are experienced cyclists. We would absolutely recommend this activity.

Wij deden de fietstocht in St-Emilion, onze gids was Paulien en ze deed het geweldig! Hoewel we voor de middag wat regen hadden, was de fietstocht zeer mooi en rustig. De organisatie had gelukkig regenponcho’s voorzien, een pluspunt! We bezochten twee kastelen en een wijnshop, alle drie de gidsen gaven een mooie uitleg, niet te uitgebreid, kort en bondig.
Er was lunch voorzien op de middag met de groep, op die manier kon je rustig kennismaken met elkaar. Nadien was er nog een kleine wandeling voorzien in het centrum van St-Emilion waarbij gids Paulien ons de highlights van de stad liet zien.
Ik zou deze tour zeker aanraden!

Rustic Vines- Just wanted to say we has a super fun day for the 6 of us on Thursday Aug 1. Maude was the perfect local host as we visited chateau wineries in Pomerol & St Emilion. The picnic lunch outside in the vineyard was outstanding as were the multiple wine tastings. Maude’s local walking tour of St Emilion and dinner recommendations in Bordeaux was a nice added benefit. From a safety standpoint, I would recommend having your van driver bring up the rear of our uphill, cobblestone 1/4 mile start as we left the parking lot in St Emilion. This would serve as a blocking force. Having local cars scream by our slow uphill e-bikes was not the best starting experience as we learned quickly to shift gears. After that uphill start in 5-10 min, we quickly got on small local vineyard backroads for the next 5-6 hours of fun. I highly recommend this super day trip from Bordeaux during our Olympics visit. Merci Beaucoup!

Actually we couldn't realize the price is reasonable or not when reservation, but as it started, we found it much more fantastic than we thought. It was a lot of fun to cut through between vineyards by ebike. The tour was a wonderful memory for us.

We had the best time. It started with a journey from Bordeaux to St Emilion alongside our amazing guide Maud, who had the most beautiful and fun energy! The bikes are really good quality and it was an easy ride on and off road seeing lovely chateaus and the stunning countryside. Stopped at two chateau's for win tasting the first had a nice garden where we had lunch with a very fun group of bar friends from Japan, wine and some sake later we went on our merry way. A good full day of more wine tasting, food tasting and the sights of St Emilion before getting back just before 6pm. So much fun, well organised and made so much better by Maud, even got a treat of a song on our way back. Thank you! Love Shelley & Laura

The tour is well organised. The route taken is mostly safe (mostly on small roads) and shows you the beautiful landscape and architecture or the Saint Emilion surroundings. The e-bikes gives you the possibility to go to the pace that you want. Because of this people with different health conditions or age can do it altogether.
The guide was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the wine.
This slow way of discovering this area was for us a memorable trip.

This was a highlight of our time in France! This tour was small, delicious and really fun. At then end of a hot day we asked our guide to point out an ice cream shop and she took us to the best spot in Saint-Emilion, it was amazing!

A fabulous introduction to the wines of st Emilion and the area. The lunch and wine provided was delicious and perfect venue. The biking through the vineyards was fun and pleasant. We enjoyed this bike tour so much! We were lucky with perfect weather and a fun, social group. We tried 13 different wines and had a lovely time biking. The electric bike support allows you to cruise through the vineyards or challenge yourself to keep up manually. I’d recommend this to anyone in the Bordeaux area!

This tour was fantastic, we had so much fun in our small group day tour on our electric bikes. Our tour guide Maud was brilliant, she was extremely knowledgeable on the region and also her wine knowledge was exceptional.
Maud made our tour so enjoyable and we would 100% recommend this tour to anyone coming to Bordeaux.
The views of the Chateaux’s, vineyards all the wine making process information and of course the tastings and picnic lunch was fantastic.

What an amazing day trip! Our guide Colas was awesome. He knew a lot about wine, and was generally very courteous during the trip, helping out wherever he could and making sure everyone was enjoying the tour. The e-biking was terrific and easy. We had great weather, which did not hurt. The vineyards were predictably picturesque. The tastings were very well curated. The wine itself was delightful. Five stars.

Great pace both on and off the e-bikes to enjoy the surroundings, talks, ride, tastings and chat with group members. Our Guide, Pauline, was knowledgeable, considerate and made us laugh together (we didn't know each other as a group). We learnt about soil, weather & climate, environment control, concrete & barrels, appellations, tastes and tannin at the 2 wineries and tasting in St Emilion . We tasted young and older wines either side of sharing a picnic and then after parking the e-bikes, walked around St Emilion.
So glad our friends recommended this tour having done it last year .

Really good day out. Very well led by a knowledgeable and personable guide. Visits to two organic vineyards, where, alongside sampling the wine, we had a lovely lunch picnic, featuring delicious local meats, cheeses etc, as well as cycling around St Emilion, where we also stopped for a coffee, a visit to a wine shop inc wine tasting and finally dropped in at a home made chocolate shop! The e-bikes were a joy (and easy) to ride. Overall a 10/10 experience.

We had a brilliant day on the wine tour led by the delighful Mariana. It was informative and great fun. We visited two impressive wine chateaux and the picnic lunch exceeded our expectations. Some of the wine events for tourists in this region are not that great but this tour is definitely worth the money. Highly recommended.

What a great day!!! Our guide, Theo, was superb - knowledgeable, helpful, skilled and personable.
We rode through a bit a rain but was able to stay dry with the poncho Rustic Vines provided. Visited 2 very interesting and different wineries. And, tasted many great red wines.
Was a long (~0930-1815) but incredibly enjoyable day! Would absolutely recommend this tour.

This was an excellent tour and our guide, Daniela, was wonderful -- super friendly and knowledgeable about wine and the region. The e-bikes were fun and comfortable, the scenery was stunning and the wine stops were superb. The picnic lunch was great - nice mix of meat, cheese, some veggies and more, and all three winery stops were very generous. It is good value for the money. The town of Saint Emilion is unbelievably picturesque. I'd love more time there but this was a wonderful, full day and I'd highly recommend the tour to anyone.

An absolutely amazing adventure! It was raining all day, so instead of an Electric Bike Day Tour, we collectively opted to drive around in the van, which allowed us to see more than we would have across St-Emilion. The wine tastings were fantastic choices and our guide was very knowledgable and friendly. It was a perfect day, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!

Vincent wss a superb host and guide throughout our tour, which was the highlight of our trip to France! Despite a little rain, it was a magnificent experience and after trying e-bikes….we’ve all become huge fans. The St-Emilion all day trip is the one...... Staff was prompt, knowledgeable, an fun.....They took us to a variety of Chateau's but with alot of countryside to look at and towns to explore.

What an amazing day we had with Tim from Rustic Vines and the other patrons on teh tour. Collected in the centre of Bordaux and taken out to Saint Emilion where our ebikes were waiting for us. It did rain a bit, but Rustic had that covered with rain ponchos. Visited two Chateaus and had two great tours with wine tasting. Lovely lunch provided with wine from one of the Chateaus that we visted. Retunred to Saint Emilion for a walking tour and another wine tasting experience with one of the towns many merchants with local wines from the region surounding Saint Emilion. The tour is for lovers of red wine, which Im not, however, I did give it ago, liked a couple, but still a white drinker! At the end of the day, Tim was aware that I wasnt a red wine drinker (I think I let him know at the start!) and gifted me with a lovely bottle of white wine, which I graciously accepted. To the team at Rustic Vines you were exceptional and would definately recommend if you want to explore the region of Saint Emilion, we thoroughly enjoyed our day. Thanks again. John (Australia)

The office in Bordeaux is central and easy to find. Turn up early and have breakfast just around the corner.
Our tour guide Ben has first class knowledge of the region and the vineyards.
Don't be afraid of riding a bike - the electric assist if required is a fantastic help. I would suggest that if you have not been on a bike for some years, practice at home in order to maximise your enjoyment.
A couple of tricky junctions to negotiate but well managed by Ben.
A very full day, but spread out and never felt rushed.
Team Rustic Vines are worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Saint Emilion with Rustic a vines and Nicholas as our guide. He speaks so informative ly, is well versed in history and all things wine related. He was a great guide, good conversation and made sure that the group was safe on the bikes and enjoying themselves at all times. We so enjoyed his company! Great sense of humor and fun!! We took a tour which began in Bordeaux with a van ride to St Emilion where we then took e bikes out into the countryside of Bordeaux wine country. We stopped at 2 wineries for tours and tastings and we had a wonderful lunch with wine outside in a lovely garden at the first winery. We then cycled through more stunning scenery back to st emilion where we had a third tasting and a walking tour then van back to Bordeaux. This trip was awesome and Nicholas our tour guide was professional fun and conversational. Thank you Rustic Vines

There is no better way to see the wine regions of Bordeaux than this way on an electric bike. Breathtaking scenery, beautiful chateau’s delicious lunch on chateau grounds and most of all the wine!! Learned so much about wine making and appreciation of it!
Bikes are in great condition and very easy to ride.
St Emilion is also a beautiful village and so glad we got to go there too.

My husband and I joined a group of other travellers for this biking trip around Saint Emilion. Nicolas was a perfect guide, chatting and giving formal and informal history and bits of information about the wine, vineyards and area, as we drove, and throughout our day. He was fantastic, friendly, and generous with his time. He even dropped guests off at their respective hotel areas to avoid walking home in the rain.
This is the best travel experience I have had during my time in France and perhaps ever. If you have a day to do this bike trip, I would highly recommend it!

We were recommended this tour by a friend and it did not disappoint. Thomas was our guide and very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine and he was also very fun and joined in with the group. It was the first time I’d used an e-bike and it was very enjoyable and made the ride super easy. Loved that we did a significant amount of biking to view the vineyards surrounding Saint-Émilion (~20 miles/32 km). Greatly appreciated the knowledge and level of detail of winemaking from both our tour guide (Thomas) and the onsite winery tour-guides. The day from start to finish was very organized and well paced. I came away with a much better understanding of Bordeaux wines and a wonderful day spent in good company. Would absolutely recommend this as a "must do" to anyone visiting Bordeaux and/or Saint-Émilion.

We had an amazing time on this E-Bike tour which was very well planned out. We signed up for the Rustic Vines St-Emilion Electric Bike Day Tour and had the most incredible time. First and foremost, our guide, Ben, exceeded our expectations in terms of knowledge of the area and wines - truly one of the best guides we've had on any tour ever. The wines we tasted were delicious, the scenery was stunning, and the e-bike makes getting around easy but much more exciting and fun than your standard vehicle transportation. The lunch was the perfect spread of simple yet classic and delicious French staples - cheeses, baguette, pate, fruit, and of course wine. We loved every second of this tour and would happily to it again when visiting Bordeaux!

We thoroughly enjoyed a jam-packed day of cycling across beautiful scenery and tasting lovely wines. Taylor was a brilliant guide, who went the extra mile to ensure we all had a great experience; taking photos, teaching us history, speaking both English and French, answering any questions asked, providing recommendations for food in Bordeaux, and generally putting us all at ease in a large group from different countries! We had a fabulous day exploring the St Emilion region, doing this by bike gave us a real opportunity to understand the scope of the area and admire the landscape. Each chateau was interesting and individual, giving us a behind the scenes look at the processes, of wine production. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience! Our Rustic Vines guide was welcoming and informative from the outset. The visits to two very different but equally beautiful chateaux were fascinating, and it goes without saying that the wine tasting was wonderful! The tour guides at both were informative, friendly and able to explain the wine production processes and how to properly sample wine perfectly. The final wine tasting stop in a shop in St Emilion was also lovely, with an incredibly knowledgeable proprietor. There was never any pressure to purchase wine (although of course we did!) We covered about 20km on the e-bikes, cycling through outstandingly beautiful countryside and vinyards. There was little rain during the day but effective (if not very flattering) rain capes were provided. Having never ridden an e-bike before, we're now complete converts! So much fun! It was a full and ultimately tiring day but worth every moment. Highly recommend.

We loved the cycling and bikes (very comfy and easy to use for some of our friends who were less confident), and both wine tours were informative with a great lunch provided too. However the main dissappointment was the overall lack of cycling - the whole group was really enjoying exploring on the bikes and had understood it would be around 3 hours - but instead it was only 15km total and seemed we just went straight from A - B (10-15 mins cycling each time) then spent circa 1 hr waiting for the tour, then a lot of time waiting to head for the next one when we could have used this to look around other beautiful vineyards, roads in the area or even St. Emilion itself.
We had high expectations for this trip after the reviews and although it was enjoyable, feel some of the time could have been better managed and the plan better communicated from the start of the day by the guide or alternative options provided for those who may wish to explore more.

Leopold was a delightful guide. He was extremely knowledgeable about wines (he is studying them at a local university) and went out of his way to help make everything easy for group. The e-bikes were terrific and make for an enjoyable trip. A lovely lunch of pate, cheeses, fresh bread, vegetables and more (plus local wine) was served under the trees at one of the vineyards/chateau. We went to two chateaus and a tasting room. One chateau regrettably only had one wine- but the tour guide was terrific. Leo took us in a tour of the town afterwards and always ensured we had water. Bring sunscreen! A wonderful day and would highly recommend it. Amazing way to see the countryside.

We loved our ebike winery tour of St Emillion with Daniela. Our pick up from Bordeaux was seamless and Daniela did a great job of getting us excited and ready for our bike tour on the bus ride up. She also helped us get to know our fellow riders. We found the bikes to be very comfortable, easy to use and we were not tired after our full day tour in the sun. Lunch was tasty and well organized. The winery visits and tastings were interesting, fun and also well organized.

After recently completing a tour of Champagne, I decided the only way to experience Bordeaux wines would be with a tour group, but I had high expectations. We enjoyed our day, it made a nice change. Although I have to say having been on few other wine tours with a sit down 3 course lunch for less this one was expensive as the lunch was very basic and the setting in the garden with the portable loo and building materials in full view spoilt the ambience. The second vineyard also had building works being done. Shame as I think it could be better. But all the staff are lovely and friendly.

the winery visits were lovely- but the walking tour of saint emillion was unpleasant and did not offer any insight. would not recommend and would suggest that you drastically change that section of the tour. also the picnic was disappointing- not value for money and by no means enough wine. forced interaction between guests is also uncomfortable.

My partner and I booked this day trip with transport from Bordeaux. Everything went off perfectly and Taylor and the team could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We had a lovely day out with three other couples. The atmosphere was relaxed and the cycle was approachable for all levels. We tried 11 different wines over the course of our day and had a lovely picnic with the group. The scenery as you cycle around the valley is beautiful and the old town of Saint Emilion is incredibly cute. I would recommend this to anyone who is in Bordeaux for a few days.

What a lovely way to spend the day. Our tour guide Taylor was a lovely guy extremely personable, knowledgable, and an all-round nice guy. The bikes (electric ones) were great and the cycle through the countryside and vineyards taking in the views, fresh air, and sun was food for the soul. Both Chateau we visited shared their knowledge with us and wine of course as they guided us through the wine-making process. You don't need to be a wine lover to enjoy this day. Lunch provided by our tour guide in the garden of the Chateau was restaurant standard. An absolutely very enjoyable day and well worth it. I wouldn't hesitate to book again. If you are looking for a nice day stop reading the reviews and book now you won't regret it.

Biking the wine region was so much better than sitting in a car. Our guide prepared ponchos in case of drizzle for all of us, made us a wonderful lunch picnic (with a local canele) to go along with the first wine tasting, and was upbeat and full of knowledge. It was my best day in Bordeaux and super worth it. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

We had a really great day, loved the cycling, loved the wine tasting, loved every minute of it. We were lucky we had a great guide (Leo) and a really nice bunch of people on the tour, which all made it a day to remember.

Thank you Stefan and Leo for a wonderful tour of St Emilion. You were both so friendly and knowledgeable and made the day run so smoothly. We loved the e-bikes and tasting all the beautiful wines.

We had an amazing experience last saturday riding around the vineyards of Saint-Emilion with our fantastic Tour guide (respecting his privacy we will not mention his name).
Despite sickness, flat tires, hard rain and all, we have to adming that the views , the chateaux, the wine tasting, the picninc and the overall fun exceeded any minor inconvenience.
The organization was perfect, the tour guide super nice and easy going, the bikes very easy to ride and comfy, the tour around the vineyards very authentic, the picnic well assorted and presented in an incredible place (picnic table in the backyard of a chateaux sorrounded by nature), the town of saint-emilion beautiful.
Thanks Rustic vines, and Thanks to our wonderful tour-guide. The group of 5 "old friends" were delighted.

We were blessed with perfect weather. We were also blessed with Tomas as a delightful guide (who also had helped us change the date to better fit our schedule). Beautiful countryside, many good wines. Very good bikes. Things seemed to get a little rushed at the end with the final wine tasting and tour of St Emilion, but maybe we had been slow as a group earlier in the day. Definitely recommend to anyone who is comfortable on a bike.

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour from start to finish. Our guide, Julia, was hugely knowledgeable and made the day fun throughout. Everything was informative and interesting without being stuffy which is a risk when it comes to wine... Both chateau visits were great and cycling is so much more immersive an experience than sitting in a van. The ebikes have different settings so you can alternate between manual pedalling up to basically no effort to glide along. Wouldnt hesitate to recommend
