Die absolut bewegenste positive Erfahrung im diesjährigen Sizilien-Urlaub. Wenn es das Reise-Budget hergibt, dann sollte man einen Helikopter-Flug über den Ätna unbedingt genießen. Es war unglaublich schön.

C’est une des rares excursions dont je me souviendrais toute ma vie. Voler à proximité immediate d’un volcan en eruptions. C’est unique. Extraordinaire. A faire absolument.
Par ailleurs le pilote Marcello etait tres sympa et prenait le temps de donner des explications et en plus en Français.
Enfin le prix etait très raisonnable pour ce type de vol en hélicoptère.

Excellent communication during the booking process and leading up to the flight itself. Picked up at the train station no problem and all the safety talk before the flight was excellent. Pilot had just the right amount of fun for us to really enjoy the flight, but safety was paramount.
Overall, it was a really interesting and fun trip. Would thoroughly recommend it to get a better perspective of Mount Etna.

Wir sind anlässlich des 60gsten Geburtstages meines Mannes geflogen. Marcello und sein Team sind einfach super. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und meine Nervosität legte sich schnell. Wonderful way to experience Mount Etna - From the moment we were picked up by Ali (who is simply an amazing person) to our introduction at the helipad facilities (many thanks to Olga for her sincerely warm and professional welcome) and finally to the chopper ride itself - absolutely breathtaking views of Mount Etna and the surrounding landscape. Our pilot, Marcello, was the consummate professional - very friendly, communicative and safety conscious (without dwelling on anything too much). He gave a running commentary throughout the trip and helped make it the unforgettable experience that it turned out to be. Once again, many thanks to Ali (you know who we'll be cheering for in the World Cup!!), Olga and Marcello for showing us a great time. Take care and much love,

The pilot was really helpful and informative about our prospects. We all waited patiently for the weather to clear. The pilot was honest about our prospects of a clear view. He kept us fully informed and showed us visuals of the weather on CCTV. Unfortunately, it got worse!

Wir hatten einen traumhaften und interessanten Flug zum Ätna mit 30 Minuten Rundflug bei einer sehr guten Sicht des Kraters inklusive vieler Nebenkrater. Unser Pilot kreiste so, dass alle Insassen etwas von dem Naturschauspiel hatten und auf ihre Kosten kommen konnten. Wir zehren noch heute von diesem außergewöhnlichen Erlebnis!
Vielen Dank auch für die perfekte Organisation und Planung in der Vorbereitung des Helicopterfluges. Wir hatten leider ein enges Zeitfenster wegen unseres Rückfluges, aber alles wurde möglich gemacht.

The whole trip was fantastic!! The pilot and the rest of the team are really professional and make you feel safe and at ease from the start. The views are breath-taking, looking right over Etna and also at the old lava flows on the hills. At the end of the tour, the pilot even took us over the coast as well.
The booking procedure is easy and everything is organized really well.

The check in process was quick and easy, it would have been a little difficult to find the office from the car park, but the lady was looking out for us and came to meet us. The pilot was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were so incredibly lucky that the volcano had erupted the night before and there was a fresh bright red stream of lava pouring out, honestly it was the most amazing thing ever. The pilot went back and forth to make sure everyone in the helicopter got a good view. Then we flew back over to the coast to see more fabulous views. Book it, you won't be disappointed.

Un grand merci à l'ensemble de l'équipe Helisicily. Tout s'est très bien passé. De la réservation à l'accueil tout d'abord, nous avions prévenu de notre retard de quelques minutes et ils nous ont attendu, laissé le temps de remplir les formulaires et offert un café. Puis nous avons été pris en charge par le pilote, un très grand professionnel qui nous a en plus fait partager son savoir sur l'Etna pendant le vol. Son assistant nous a proposé de nous prendre en photo avant de monter dans l'hélicoptère. Nous nous sommes sentis en sécurité, encadrés par une équipe compétente et bienveillante.

Helicopter rides are special (for us anyway!) and flying to see Etna was incredible, especially as it was erupting and with a stream of red hot lava pouring down the side. My kids were enthralled. A very expensive 30 minutes but well worth it and definitely unique. Pilot was both informative and fun and put everyone at ease. I would highly recommend.

Le vol dure 25 min mais vous n'apercevrez de près les cratères principaux que pendant 5 ou 7 minutes ce qui est le plus impressionnant. Le reste du temps vous observez de belles coulées sur le flanc du volcan, le paysage ainsi que la mer.
Expérience bonne mais il faut dégainer rapidement le téléphone et se faire de la place avec les voisins pour prendre des photos et revivre ensuite l'aventure.

Amazing trip. Staff and pilot were first class and this is highly recommended. They were honest that some of the cloud cover may make it difficult to reach the summit as safety is their number one priority but he managed to find a gap in the clouds and gave us a.memeorable experience.

I enjoyed the whole process from start to finish with this tour.
We arrived early to the venue which is set in a beautiful location and enjoyed a cocktail to pass the time before taking off.
When it was time for the flight, we were escorted to the helipad to have our safety brief and introduction to the pilot. Our pilot Marcello is a local to the area with fantastic knowledge of the area and gives a commentary throughout the flight about the various eruption sites around the mountain and the history of each one. The flight was completely smooth with a great vantage point from either side of the helicopter due to the flight path he took.
We would thoroughly recommend this tour as you see everything from a perspective that not many have the chance to do.
We were so happy with it that we signed up for the coastal tour aswell a couple of days later and this was epic too!

Habe ich mir zum 60. Geburtstag mal gegönnt. Aber: wegen Schlechtwetter (Regen und tiefe Wolken) mußte der Flug gestrichen werden. Wir sind dennoch mit dem Auto soweit es ging, den Ätna hochgefahren. Sicht gleich null. Zum Team: sehr sehr netter Kontakt, gab mir gleich die Möglichkeit, den Flug nächsten Tag durchzuführen. Leider stand an diesem Tage bereits der Heimflug an. Anzahlung zackig via PayPal zurück bekommen. Wirklich super. Und Sicherheit geht zu 100% vor ! Ich werde mir noch einmal definitiv die Zeit nehmen und,- nur um den Flug über Ätna zu genießen,- ein Direktflug nach Catania und zurück buchen. Da passe ich aber auf, daß das Wetter paßt.

Début mars, 2 personnes s'étant décommandées, nous avons tout de même pû effectuer le vol en couple, et même un peu en avance au vu de prévisions météo pouvant être défavorables. L'excellent pilote et guide Marcello nous a expliqué la vie autour et avec l'Etna tout en décrivant le fabuleux paysage, dans un français impeccable. Un grand merci à toute l'équipe!

There were 3 paying customers and 2 employees in our particular ride. Of the 3 window seats, the two employees got two. I was lucky to get the other one, but my husband and the other paying customer had to take interior seats from which there was a limited view. It was a beautiful view of the Mt Etna summit at sunset and the captain made several turns at the top to try to give everyone as much viewing as possible. The captain was very knowledgeable and pleasant. However, the employees should have been coached to take the interior seats, while the paying customers were given all the window seats. I understand the employees may need to have the opportunity to experience a flight so they can help advertise the flights. But at 300 Euros a seat I was expecting both of us to have spectacular views. In the future, they should limit the flights to 3 customers so they can take advantage of the window seats; or else they should charge less for those who take the interior seats.

Ein Helikopterflug über den Ätna war ein absolut einmaliges Erlebnis! Schon der Start war beeindruckend, doch als wir den majestätischen Vulkan aus der Luft erblickten, war ich einfach nur überwältigt. Der Ausblick auf die Krater und die rauchenden Lavafelder war atemberaubend. Man hat eine einzigartige Perspektive auf die schroffe, wilde Landschaft und die schiere Größe des Ätnas. Der Pilot war professionell, freundlich und hat uns während des gesamten Fluges interessante Informationen gegeben. Die gesamte Organisation war reibungslos und gut durchdacht. Ein absolut empfehlenswertes Abenteuer – unvergesslich!

This was the highlight of our trip to Sicily. We stayed in Taormina, so the taxi to/from the Helisicily site was expensive. The flight did not disappoint - words cannot describe the experience of flying over an active volcano that recently erupted. Our pilot provided a wealth of information about Mt. Etna and the micro-climate it creates along with the communities that are situated close to it. Highly recommend!

Tout est absolument parfait ! De l'accueil avant vol avec un petit verre sympathique au vol lui même, on sent l'envie de contenter le client avec sincérité. Le pilote est vraiment très sympathique et très pro. Conseil pendant tout le vol au top, pilotage parfait, on sent les années de maîtrise d'un vrai passionné. C’était notre première fois en hélico avec appréhension qui va avec...et bien nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux , juste parfait ! We had booked to have a Etna flight but due to volcanic activity our flight was altered. The communication regarding change in flight would have been appreciated prior to taking a private car to the heliport rather than arriving to then be told that we couldn't take our original flight which was disappointing. It isn't a cheap experience! We were offered an alternative at the venue and to be honest weren't offered other alternative options other than a different flight. i.e. refund for example. That being said, the flight was great and lovely to see the town in which our hotel was and flying down the coastline was really pretty. The Pilot and ground crew were nice but the receptionist could have been a bit more empathetic with regards to our disappointment considering how much money we had spent.

Nach „Auslosung“ des Platzes neben dem Piloten hatten meine Frau und ich die Plätze hinter dem Piloten eingenommen und müssen sagen – diese Plätze sind den bezahlten Betrag definitiv nicht wert ☹. Wir hatten beim ganzen Flug (bis auf die 5 Minuten oben am Krater) keine Chance, den Ätna überhaupt zu Gesicht zu bekommen (ich auf dem Mittelplatz selbst da nicht). Und um die Aussicht auf die umliegenden Dörfer zu haben, braucht es keinen Hubschrauberflug, der uns in Summe EUR 600 gekostet hat. Deutlich besser sind die Passagiere auf der linken Seite d´ran, die im Gegensatz zu uns einen unverstellten Blick genießen durften. Ich hätte wenigstens erwartet, dass man im Zickzack den Aufstieg und Abstieg anfliegt – so hätte es wenigstens auch für uns etwas die Möglichkeit gegeben, Eindrücke der gewünschten Art zu sammeln.
Sie sollten Ihre Passagiere darauf hinweisen und die „dürftigen“ Plätze auf der abgewandten Seite deutlich unter dem verlangten Betrag anbieten (schon allein die Mittelplätze sind ja ein „Skandal“).

Fantastic experience to fly in a helicopter along the most active volcano in Europe. You pass the craters a number of times and a good view of Valle del Bove. Very nice and friendly pilot, also a good guide. Thx to Marcel.

Ein wirklich lohnender Trip. So sieht man einen Vulkan sonst nie. Ein sehr gepflegter Heli mit einem netten Piloten, der alles sehr genau erklärt. Freundliche Crew. Hat sich absolut gelohnt.

Von der Buchung bis zum Flug hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Der Empfang vor dem Flug durch eine Mitarbeiterin war überaus sympathisch, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit.
Die Einweisung vor dem Flug durch den sympathischen kompetenten Piloten und seine Erklärungen während des Fluges zum Ätna selber und der Umgebung waren sehr interessant und hilfreich, um im Hubschrauber zurechtzukommen und das aus der Luft zu sehende zuordnen zu können. Der Flug selber war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis und die gesehenen Eindrücke bleiben in sehr guter Erinnerung. Dazu hat auch der sehr gute Eindruck von den Mitarbeitern, über den Flug bis zum Abschluss und der Verabschiedung durch die Firma Helisicily beigetragen.

My wife and I took the helicopter tour during our honeymoon and had a fantastic time! Our pilot held a quick but informative safety briefing before we took off and made sure to share his incredible knowledge with us during the flight. I 100% recommend it to anyone who wants a thorough tour of Mt. Etna via air. Your only regret will be that you couldn't spend more time in the air!

Friendly and professional people. Marcello, the pilot, spoke English clearly and provided interesting information throughout the flight. He took many passes from different angles so that everyone had many clear views. New helicopter. Highly reccomend....worth the price.

Friendly staff, nice place, well maintained helicopter, super pilot who manages to explain and interest his passengers (even our 5y old kid).
It's amazing to reach to top of the craters so closely. Will never forget.
Even after the flight, we coukd discuss with the staff and got very good recommendations of the places to visit. Thanks again.

Had an excellent flight over Mount Etna. Everything from initial booking, interim contacts through to the flight and post flight were excellent. Marcello, the pilot, was a brilliant pilot who gave my wife and myself an excellent flight, shared with another couple. His knowledge and friendliness, combined with his excellent flying skills gave us an extremely memorable experience and was probably the major highlight of our trip to Sicily.
We stayed in the hotel to which the heliport is attached and saw first hand the smiles on peoples faces when they landed after the flights, a smile that was as broad as mine when we landed.
We saw Etna in a way that can only be experienced from the air. It is a tour that i would recommend to anyone visiting Sicily as an absolute must. Etna is such a dominating site from much of Sicily, influencing the lives of so many, and Marcello’s description and explanation of the various eruptions and lava flows was fascinating. I hope to be back to do it all again, as from the hotel we could see the variations in the weather conditions over the volcano.
